Video: German Nissan GT-R guerilla marketing campaign borders on vandalism

The GT-R is an aggressive car, and Nissan has taken aim at Porsche owners in an aggressive marketing campaign. A team of ladies in Germany driving a brand new GT-R have taken to the streets, targeting parked Porsches. Armed with a removable decal that the tail-end of a Nissan GT-R shows, the ladies of the "ad " takes on the windshield of the Porsche. The Porsche owner back to his car, sits down and sees the GT-R tail lights stared after her.

It sounds funny, but we prefer that people have their hands out of OPP (yeah you know me ... anyone?). Click past the jump to watch the clip and hear your thoughts in the comments, this ingenious marketing or toeing the line of vandalism?

Video: MT five-figure supercar comparo pits Corvette Z06 vs. Shelby GT500 vs. GT-R

Motor Trend is determined on finding the best budget supercar. Ford, Chevrolet and Nissan increased the challenge with the 2011 Shelby GT500, 2011 Corvette Z06 and 2012 GT-R. Total cost of the vehicles in the 1,585-horsepower shootout used? $ 244,290 ... or $ 37,040 less than the 570-horsepower Lamborghini Gallardo Superleggera $ 281,330, we tested in 2010. Perspective, people.

This comparison is not high-dollar exotics, however, because M / T for the best sub-$ 100,000-looking performer. The 2012 Nissan GT-R develops 530 hp from the twin-turbo 3.8-liter V6. The American muscle machines perfer V8 power with the turbocharged 5.4-liter GT500 produce 550 horses and the 7.0-liter Z06 pumping 505th

The Shelby GT500 is certainly the best value for your dollar due to the $ 55,330 as tested price tag. But both the Z06 ($ 98,010 as-tested) and GT-R ($ 90,950) offer equally good performance at a relative bargain.

Motor Trend took all three super-coupe to the drag strip and the streets of Willow road course, the winning car is not much of a surprise. (hint: it's not American) but the resulting videos can be observed still funny. Click past the jump for clips of the drag race and the road test, then the head of Motor Trend to read about the test.

First Drive: 2012 Nissan GT-R

Invincible. According to Webster's, the word "conquered not able to overcome or subdued." The adjective is often used to think something so that it is almost impossible to describe's overthrow. Want to know what feels invincible? Strap yourself into the driver's seat of the 2012 Nissan GT-R, and press the start button.
Only three years after the successful launch of its flagship performance car on our shores, the engineers at Nissan have introduced subtle but completely redesigned super sports cars. The engine has more power, the suspension was revised, the wheels are lighter, the seats were redesigned, the brakes are bigger, the chassis is stiffer and the aerodynamics have been reconfigured to provide better cooling and more downforce. This is not a manufacturer token "middle renew the cycle" to increase sales, these are changes which the entire handling and performance of the GT-R so much to improve that to most are inclined to take it for nothing less than a second generation of rebirth.
For starters, how does 0-60 in 2.88 seconds sound? This story actually began three years ago in April of this year. That was when we first drove the then all-new 2009 Nissan GT-R, the spiritual descendant of a long line of epic Nissan Skyline sports car.
