Alpina B5 BiTurbo Touring coming to Geneva Motor Show


Ask at the Geneva Motor Show debut next week the nice folks at Alpina B5 BiTurbo treatment of the new 5 Series Touring have given.

Driven by the same twin-turbo 4.4-liter V8 as the sedan, produces 507 hp and 516 B5 Touring pound-feet of torque, runs on the rear wheels via an eight-speed sport automatic transmission of ZF. 00-60 is treated in just under 5 seconds flat to 187 miles per hour to do that for the Touring.

Of course, everything comes wrapped this power in the usual Alpina trimmings, including a steroid-enhanced exterior aero kit and the company signing 20-spoke wheels. 2012 BMW 650i Convertible configurator comes online


The new 2012 BMW 650i Convertible is for even bigger and heavier than most competitors, but there are a number of notable changes to the updated car. All good things, and judging by the fact that BMW has launched the online configurator 650i Convertible, it seems, this is great droptop ready for prime time.

The price starts at $ 92,375 even $ 875 is for the target, and the dreaded $ 1,000 gas guzzler tax is applied. The price is only from there, with packages such as driver assistance systems ($ 3900) and premium sound ($ 1,800) to fix things over the $ 100,000 mark. BMW offering M Performance exhaust for M3 range [w/video]



BMW has released a new exhaust system for the current M3 coupe, sedan and convertible. This new M-System Performance of lightweight, heat-resistant Inconel is manual work, and when combined with the current M3 high-revving 4.0-liter V8 is the end result of a lot of throaty, powerful sound.

The M Performance exhaust is about 20 pounds lighter than the standard setup, consisting of perforated liners and polished titanium tips with the BMW M logo. What's more, this reduced flow exhaust system total pressure, and sound to sound more exciting.

Report: All BMW four-cylinders will be turbocharged


We hope that you make BMW fans out there, as you with four-cylinder charge. According to Autocar, the German automaker committed, strapping a turbo charger on all its four-cylinder engines in the near future. The report cited "company sources" as saying that the company over the use of the turbo four pots for applications up to 241 PS plans. Spy Shots: 2012 BMW 1 Series


Our elite team of spy photographers managed to nab a handful of photos of the upcoming BMW 1 Series. 2012 BMW M5 to be automatic only?

BMW X6 to get five-seat option among other changes

BMW Vision ConnectedDrive set to make Geneva swoon
