The turbocharged GLI - - at this year's Chicago Auto Show, and we are in love quickly turns into highway-ready VW Volkswagen has brought its latest iteration of the new Jetta 2011. The Jetta is quite nice (sedate if decided) sees underlined by larger 18-inch alloy wheels, smoked a more aggressive front fascia and taillights, and if the whole package is painted pull me over red, we can not help but daydream about Flogging the new Jetta GLI at our favorite set of twisty roads.
The Jetta GLI appears eager to meet, too. Under the hood, Volkswagen 2.0-liter turbocharged inline-four engine is designed at 200 horsepower and 207 pound-feet of torque. Achieve both a manual and dual-clutch gearbox available, the latter of which the Jetta GLI up to 32 miles per gallon allowed on the highway. Not bad.
The big change is natural that the GLI will benefit from a sophisticated independent rear suspension than the standard Jetta, and Volkswagen has ported over its XDS differential cross-technology from the GTI.

For the first time, Volkswagen debuted the new-for-2011 Jetta sedan, we were told that a total of four engines would be available. The standard Jetta uses the naturally aspirated 2.0-and 2.5-liter mill, and the ever-popular 2.0-liter TDI engine. The last engine in this series - Volkswagen turbocharged 2.0-liter four - now debuting under the hood of the 2012 Jetta GLI, which reveal its official this week at the Chicago Auto Show gets.
Think of the Jetta GLI as a larger, fatter GTI. In small gasoline engine as the 2.0-liter turbo-four producing 200 hp and 207 pound-feet of torque, paired either with a six-speed manual or automatic DSG from VW. The Jetta GLI is using the same XDS differential cross that in the GTI, which debuted helps control the wheels and understeer during cornering.
The Jetta GLI is available in three trim levels - GLI, GLI and GLI Autobahn highway navigation - from $ 23,495, $ 25,545 and $ 26,445 or prices. The base GLI comes with 17-inch alloy wheels, rear lights and revised front end to mention a standard, not to improved suspension geometry for better access to the road. The GLI Autobahn ups the ante with a series of 18-inch alloys, dual-zone automatic climate control, heated leather seats and a new Fender premium audio system. The top trim GLI Autobahn navigation adds, well, navigation, and to start push button.
