Ford releases new version of the Fiesta S1600, limited to just 500 units


Another day, another hot-hatch that the UK can enjoy while thumb their nose at our relative lack of hot-hatchitude here in the States. Ford has announced another limited edition of only S1600 Fiesta hatchback.

In 2010, Ford published a 650-car drive over the 118-PS-Fiesta S1600 three doors. A new version for 2011 uses the same engine, but the power ups ante to 132 hp at 6,700 rpm and 118-min pound-feet of torque at 4,250 rpm.

On the outside is replaced by the Ford Fiesta S1600 from a lower quality, larger side skirts, a rear spoiler, rear diffuser and white 17-inch alloy wheels. The car is in Frozen White or Blue color options available both performance and get a pair of contrasting stripes center. The S1600 will be modernized in the interior parts as well. Lines of the heated leather sports seats, handbrake cover, gear level and steering wheel.

The Ford Fiesta S1600 will be limited to only 500 pieces and carries a price tag of £ 15,895 or just under $ 26,000 USD. It does not matter how much it costs in U.S. dollars, though, because we do not buy it here. That is, do not hesitate all about what you read probably missing in the press release after the break.

Report: Nick Hamilton, younger brother of Lewis, headed into racing


Nick Hamilton is following in the footsteps of his elder brother. You may have heard of him ... Lewis Hamilton, the 26-year-old Formula One driver who has already earned the title of world champion and current gains through his career count.

Nineteen-year-old Nick has a deal with Total Control Racing and is in the UK Renault Clio Cup run signed. He recently received his National B race license and spent time testing a 2010 Clio Cup car.

Nick is certainly pressure reached for his brother peform already, but it will also be closely monitored, because he has cerebral palsy. Hamilton says he had his brother compete and saw so much sooner, which serves as an inspiration for him. He hopes that he faced to inspire others and the various challenges in their lives.
