Fiat 500 by Gucci celebrates Italian style

Chic, elegant and Italian, a car like the Fiat 500 is a natural fit for the Gucci set. But in case that is not obvious enough, the two Italian companies special together on one line. Led by Lapo Elkann - the sleek playboy brother of the Fiat chairman John Elkann and grandchildren of his late predecessor, Gianni Agnelli - Fiat 500 is a joint effort by Gucci Creative Director Frida Giannini and Gucci Fiat Centro Stile in this, Italy 150th Year of INDEPENDENCE.

The car itself follows in the footsteps of the Diesel edition - not to mention the large number of similar initiatives, including the Citroën DS3 and the Mini - and is available in black or white. Gucci signature red and green stripes running along the flank, with the double-G logo on the wheel hubs and the pattern on the leather seats.

Of course, Gucci has introduced a number of clothing and accessories for the occasion. The car collection was created by Milan Fashion Week to life and will be displayed at a booth at the Geneva Motor Show next week. Report: Fiat readying all-new B-segment four-door for U.S. by 2013

Now that Fiat has finally called the 500 here in the United States into being, it's time to start, advance. The automaker has already said that it offers two other versions of the diminutive hatch - a high-performance Abarth emblem variant and a battery-electric vehicle - and now Fiat has revealed that she intends to create a completely new B-segment car designed specifically for the U.S.
Motor Trend reports that the new B-car project called L-Zero is internally expected to arrive sometime during 2013th Fiat did not specify whether the new car is a four-door sedan or five-door hatchback will be added to say the automaker if it were the B-segment car will be sold in markets outside the United States.
In an interview with Motor Trend, "said Laura Soave Fiat North America, the carmaker that is not lost from its roots as a small car company.
