Report: GM to launch special edition Camaro every six months
You think it was a lot of special editions of the Bugatti Veyron? The Europeans is nothing 'on muscle cars have when it comes to low-volume derivatives. And for its part, Chevrolet did not plan to stop anytime soon. Quite the opposite, in fact ... at least, that is, according to the latest reports.
It is rumored that Chevy is the introduction of a new special edition Camaro every six months for planning - hold on, during our good old abacus Autoblog - two per year! If the new ZL1 that debuted in Chicago, the first in a long series that will likely be followed by a new edition for the upcoming Transformers sequel Dark of the Moon. If the reports proved correct, which we held until the end of next year. In addition, Chevrolet is reportedly planning on opening up in other historical Camaro variants for future action. Have a thought or two on this subject? Tell us what special Camaro you'd like to see more - you never know who might listen.

Miss Evelyn's "Wild Ride" in a Camaro most-watched ad of all time
The Nielsen Company has the numbers from last weekend's Super Bowl counted and found that (the official name of "Miss Evelyn") General Motors' Wild Ride "Chevrolet Camaro commercial has become the most-watched show of all time, with an estimated 119 628 000 spectators. You can ReWatch the ad after the jump, but as you may recall, is about two guys their own commercial Camaro on the fly. "The new attendance record breaking the old by a Doritos commercial during last year's big game of 116,231,920 viewers saw was set.
The crazy thing is that the old record of any indication, this year's top ten list, in addition to the commercial Camaro also included ads for the Chevy Cruze, Chrysler 200 and Bridgestone tire was manufactured considered beaten. Credit not only the quality of this year's Super Bowl commercials, but also a very good game of pigskin, got the better every quarter. The Camaro commercial, for instance, got a boost from appearing in the fourth quarter when the game was anything but decided.
Nielsen also reports that Volkswagen was "The Force" ad with Max side as Darth Vader this year's "best-liked" during the Super Bowl commercial. The top ten list of most liked Super Bowl commercials was also with the car-related ads littered, but strangely, the top ten "most-remembered ads do not feature a single auto industry locally.
Camaro ZL1 is the new hot model in Chicago
We have heard some speculation about what Camaro-based model would debut at the Chicago Auto Show today, and Tran from Camaro5 seems to have the answer: the ZL1. The Chevrolet press conference is scheduled not for another hour or so, but moves the ground seems to show that the expected hi-po pony car will have to shrink the Z28 designation for ZL1. Either way, it is a supercharged 6.2-liter V8 is packed with a six-speed manual transmission as part of a beefed-up driveline.
Other important features are Magnetic Ride Control suspension, Brembo brakes, competition-spec cooling system, comes with unique body with a "Transformers 3 style" front bumper, hood and unique model-specific wheels. Camaro5 point out, that was also the interior with a new steering wheel and silver enhanced. We are live pictures of the Camaro from the obvious short stay so have tuned. The best tips for Jesse and Amber!
