Video: Nelly shows off Ford Explorer audio system, commercial director adds unnecessary zazz

The audio system in the 2011 Ford Explorer was created by Sony and has Dolby Pro Logic II Surround technology pumped by 12 speakers including a subwoofer. Can take the crisp sound system HD radio channels and tag songs so you can buy them later on iTunes. Ford tapped multiple Grammy-winner Nelly to discuss the virtues of this device.

Ford also got a hold of a director who thinks that Nelly and the 2011 Ford Explorer are not enough to make an excellent commercial. He decides to add some pizazz, and Nelly does not feel needed. The premise sounds doubtful but the results are surprisingly funny. Watch the clip itself by passing on the go. Now if you'll excuse us now, we are going to refresh our Country Grammar ...

AdSpotting: Ford Explorer gets funny with Kevin Hart

Company: Ford Motor Co.

Brand: Ford
Media: TV
Advertising Agency: The Uniworld Group,
Product: Explorer
Campaign: "Crazy Kevin."
What we like: Humor often works better than painful seriousness of certain functions in a typical SUV vehicle spotlight. Kevin Hart has a certain poor man's Chris Rock likability. The display has a story with a beginning and an end rather than a chatter of feature benefits.
What we do not do: Not much, other than to display fun could really use Hart's talents. The jokes are not quite sharp enough. It was probably funny things that came from working with him, and who may be allowed to refuse storyboard. Ford has the habit of smoothing, which one is an edgy idea was creative because it feared that a risk with ad content.
Strategy: Ford wants to Kevin Hart's sense of humor, which typically centers capitalize on his life as a husband and father. The ads will extend into TV, radio, print and digital. Each ad will play some aspects of the redesigned 2011 Explorer, such as his "Terrain Management System (TMS) and inflatable rear safety belts. The kickoff features appear shockingly hard late for his brother's wedding in a 2011 Ford Explorer. As he speeds in the wedding, he creates a disturbance in the Explorer, the focus steals from the bride and groom. During the display, highlights and TMS hard as he traveled through sand and mud go to the wedding. He also shows off Explorer seven passenger seating capacity by packing the entire rear of the vehicle with wedding gifts - all while cheering on the "crazy" factor of the SUV.

Review: 2011 Ford Explorer Limited

They call it a reboot. It happens all the time in Hollywood when a movie franchise falls flat. After a blockbuster with his audience with a series of lesser sequels, the studio starts over, retelling the story from a new perspective.
The best example is Batman. The combination of Michael Keaton and director Tim Burton produced great critical acclaim and box office figures for the first two films Caped Crusader in 1989 and 1992. Then came a new director, Joel Schumacher, who just over the franchise with Batman Forever Batman & Robin in 1995 and killed in 1997. Eight years passed before anyone in Hollywood realized the Dark Knight name could still fill theater seats, and the franchise was founded in 2005 with the dark Batman Begins restarted.
The completely redesigned 2011 Ford Explorer is the Blue Oval "Batman Begins". Ford's most famous sport utility vehicle has desperately needed a reboot since Firestone tire recall made in 2000 rollover Enemy Number One. Rising gas prices have not, but half the tire debacle hurt the mark badly, with the Explorer goes from this country, the third best-selling vehicle in 2000 with 445,157 sold, bought just over 60,000 in 2010. But like Batman, the Explorer had name value, not the Ford was let go to waste. And so the 2011 Explorer Sport Utility of the history of Ford from a new angle is told. The question of whether the explorer's name can make is still encounters in the seats.

Campaign for the 2011 Ford Explorer, he wondered how the Explorer's Facebook start a new tone, as Ford has set talks with customers, and even a new tone for the company. " That makes his earlier about Ford moving to social media to understand "a conversation with consumers" much easier.
