New Kickboxer Concept is all-wheel-drive diesel insanity on two wheels
It's been a while since we heard from Ian McElroy. As you may remember, he has the twisted eyes that came with the idea of the filing of a Subaru boxer four-cylinder engine between the rails of a motorcycle frame. Now it seems that he has a busy bee, as was shown taking his first on the concept kick boxer. McElroy has set about Reimagining his creation with a diesel boxer lumps in the center of the action. The engine is still available from Fuji Heavy Industries, although it is both small lumps and efficient than the old petrol.
The latest addition to the kick boxer family offers new body and a different swing arm design with a new turbo configuration. Not crazy enough for you? How about an all-wheel-drive version of the oil-combustion-engine stuck in your pipe? McElroy was a twin-chain design that works with some help from a jack shaft, pinion gear and a drive shaft.
These are not just some random renderings, though. McElroy says it all CAD files it needs to manufacture the bikes and set up. All he needs is to do the coin. Shall we start passing the hat?

Report: NHTSA investigation into 100,000 VW and Audi diesels intensifies
According to The Detroit News is the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration turning up the heat on the investigation of faulty fuel pumps Volkswagen. The administration has announced that it is currently examining 97 272 diesel Volkswagen and Audi vehicles after receiving 160 complaints about the issue. NHTSA says that in about half of the complaints, the bad pumps in a stalling of the engine on the highway or in traffic, the engine out of restarts prevented. Nevertheless, no serious accidents have been attributed to faulty pump, although a minor fender bender was reported as a result of the issue.
The study includes 2010 Golf Hatchback, 2009-2010 Jetta sedan and 2010 Audi A3 certain models.
Volkswagen says that the fuel has questions they have encountered have been contaminated by diesel fuel with gasoline pump. The company says that even a small amount of gas mixed with diesel fuel in the pumps can be switched off. Unfortunately for thusly affected owners, fuel system damage is not covered by the warranty by using the wrong fuel.
Meanwhile, Volkswagen has some 120 separate NHTSA fuel slips, some of which came courtesy of dealers and service personnel with the wrong fuel information.

Chicago 2011: 2011 Ram 3500 HD High Output takes the torque war nuclear
Have the heads of Chrysler, to ensure that buyers who set the need to haul small celestial bodies are occasionally care with the new high-output 6.7-liter turbo-diesel engine made by Cummins. The oil-burning mill spits out 23 percent more torque than the old one, and the final figure now sits at an astronomical 800 pounds-feet. There are also 390 hp on hand, and combined, these numbers are good enough to tow up to 3500 HD help to £ 22,700. The Big Daddy Ram also packs a ridiculous permissible rating of 30,000 pounds, when equipped with the optional tow package Max.
These impressive ratings are part of the truck brake system. Chrysler engineers have folded in the largest brakes of a full-size pickup with 14.17-inch discs front and back 14.09-inch discs, and the 3500 HD with what the most powerful brakes on all heavy Chrysler Pickup Exhaust Calls.
In addition, the fleshy Cummins block is said to be good for more than 350,000 miles before requiring a major overhaul and, unlike competitors from Ford and General Motors, this animal needs no diesel exhaust fluid to reduce emissions further. Hit the jump for the full press explosion.

Report: Torque-tastic Mini Cooper SD diesel to debut in Geneva
The expansion of the MINI family marches forward relentlessly, but while the area grows usually with more body styles, is the latest addition to configurations with a new engine to transcend.
Although it probably will not be offered Stateside, has the rumor that Mini is preparing for a new heavy-duty diesel engine at the upcoming Geneva Motor Show, started in March. The cars are equipped with it reportedly transferred to the SD-name (a combination of S from the top-spec petrol engine with the D from the existing diesel).
Details are not yet known, but reports that it could be a 2.0-liter turbo diesel with 143 HP and up 225 lb-ft of torque. The torque figure would exceed strongly the moments of any of the existing mini-motors produced - even the JCW on overboost.
