Ford investing $400M in Kansas City plant for unnamed new car


Ford plans to invest 400 million U.S. dollars announced in its Kansas City assembly plant in Missouri. The company shifted production of escape from this facility to its Louisville, Kentucky plant, the opening is a line of an unnamed model. There is some evidence that the crew FoMoCo is planning to build the Transit Connect in addition to the F-150 at the Kansas City plant. Regardless of which model Ford, plans to build there, will go the company's investment in new tools, new body shop and other improvements, while managing to save to 3,750 jobs in the process.

Ford will be around 150 million U.S. dollars in tax breaks over 10 years for the retention of the Kansas City plant up and appear as part of the 2010 Missouri Manufacturing Jobs obtain Act. The legislation provides tax incentives for automakers to get the jobs through new investments.
