Erik Buell Racing 1190RS: America strikes back

You can not always a good man down. This is safe for Erik Buell, by all accounts, a huge shiny shell lemons from his previous employer, Harley-Davidson has been delivered, and somehow elbow deep in a rushing river of sweet-tasting lemonade. Namely, a look at the new Erik Buell Racing 1190RS, a street-1190RR Superbike Racer Erik's.
As is typical in the last bikes with the name "Buell, the fuel in the frame, which is by the same company, the units from the previous Buell Motorcycle Company welded is prepared on hold and the engine is a V-Twin design displacement 1190cc . The engine is a heavily massaged version of the Rotax-built unit 1125 used in the old models. Horsepower figures are not yet available, but the road bike makes around 185 horses at the rear wheel. Do you expect a slight decrease of this figure.
Many premium components are hung from the 380-pound (wet) 1190RS. Expect to see Öhlins front and rear, a goal Sport Digital Dashboard, magnesium wheels and a full carbon fiber fairing. Certainly, the components for a hand-bike is built like this cost a pretty penny, and although not talking Erik pricing only do not expect that the 1190RS too cheap. Think Ducati 1198R (about $ 40,000 or so) area. be a little less expensive version with fiberglass and plastic instead of carbon fiber also in sight.
Suffice it to say, we are pleased that Erik is living his dream again produce high-end American sport bikes. Take a look at the pictures in our high-res image gallery below and stay tuned for more information as it becomes available.
