Peugeot planning crossover wagon as new flagship?

If a car manufacturer a flagship halo model, it looks like will usually take? A sports car or a luxury sedan of the time. But Peugeot is not planning. For its new flagship, the French car manufacturer said go with a crossover.

Based on the existing 508 SW (pictured above), the new top-of-the-line Peugeot a similar formula to the Audi A6 Allroad Quattro would follow. That would be to form higher, grow with raised ground clearance and a proportion of fresh body, get it from the rest of the 508 series that replaces itself both to distinguish the 407 and 607 sedans, the space for the range up-market.

The as-yet unnamed model would probably, according to enterprises employ Hybrid4 diesel-electric-through-the-road four-wheel-drive powertrain that mates a 163-hp 2.0-liter turbo diesel with a 37-hp electric motor.
