Imperia GP struts its retro hybrid stuff in Belgium

The modern automotive era has revived more retro brands, we can think of it as seen. Marques as Bugatti, Spyker, Abarth and mini are perhaps the best known among them - not to mention counteless risen model nameplates from the Volkswagen New Beetle on the Dodge Challenger to say - and each has its classic cache again did take from the dead with a modern to the original. Imperia but plans to do better.

Active in the first half of the 20th Century, Imperia decided again with retro styling along the lines of a Morgan or Wiesmann, but with a modern twist: it is a hybrid. It is driven by the combination of a 207-horsepowr 1.6-liter turbo four and a 134-hp electric motor provided. Such a small package are driven only by the electric motor 62 from a standstill in a solid hit six seconds, only four or contact with combustion engines

The product of about three years in development, was presented the first pre-production prototype recently in his native Belgium auto show, and is on the market just hit with a 90,000-euro price tag, or 120,000 euros for the first issue. Take a look in the gallery below and in the press release after the jump.
