Smart ForSpeed concept revealed before Geneva debut

Not every future smart model is to disappear into trouble - some will never see the light of production. Namely, is Daimler-small-car manufacturer to bring a fully electric, with no roof version of the Smart Fortwo at the Geneva Motor Show and the Forspeed concept looks surprisingly similar to the Smart Speedster we got a look at a couple of weeks.
Overall, the echoes of the Forspeed Smart Cross Blade in limited numbers in the early 2000s was made. to emphasize just that Forspeed is a pure concept, it comes equipped with some interesting tail lights, handles no external door and there it is-roof sans, there is a cover toneau either coat the entire interior or just the passenger side if you get caught in the rain.
The Forspeed's 41-hp electric motor, the car can yawn all the way up to 37 miles per hour in 5.5 seconds and a top speed of 75 miles per hour. This is not excatly "Speedy", as the name implys, but the boost function is shown on the dashboard provides a further seven ponies. More important, the ED is part of the clumsy "ForspeED" name, it refers to the electric-drive powertrain that we find in the fortwo ed. At least the concept Hits 37 mph a second earlier than the standard Fortwo ED.
The range for the Forspeed is estimated at 85 miles, with a 80-percent charge possible in 45 minutes. This is most likley to DC fast charging conditions, but we're not sure. We make sure to get more information than we are on the ground in Geneva.
