Ferrari working on its own version of Fiat's MultiAir?

The flow of technology under the umbrella of the control moves from Ferrari to Fiat to other brands. After all, between the road and race car programs Maranello spends an inordinate amount of time and money on research and development. But it looks like the last bit of technology is to go in Italy on the other way.

It is rumored that Ferrari are working on a high-performance version of the acclaimed Fiat MultiAir system - one of the largest asset that Fiat put the Chrysler deal. The system allows a variable valve timing setup on the fly by hydraulic actuators to optimize performance and efficiency changes. According to industry speculation about the supposedly leaked schematic top Ferrari system could also be the type used in the pneumatically actuated valve control from the Scuderia, that his F1 engines to the 20,000 rpm redline mark, far provide a conventional spring-based system could.

Together, the systems could be at the same time to improve the efficiency and the output of already high-speed drives Ferrari.
