Chicago 2011: 2011 Toyota Matrix is... umm... sorta refreshed?

Look closely and you can the subtle changes Toyota has announced its matrix for the model year 2011. If your eyes still failing you (than ours were at first sight), we show from them all. There are new wheels on the line, Smart Stop technology has been added to curb faulty pedal complications and the automaker Toyota Care free maintenance plan is now standard. That was not too difficult was it?

Like last year, the 2011 offered in base and S trim levels matrix with a standard 1.8-liter four-cylinder (132 hp) or a stronger 2.4-liter four-cylinder (158 hp). The standard powertrain is front-wheel drive with four-wheel drive optional on the higher trim level with the larger engine. Those a bit more fun (well, at least visual stimuli) must add the optional sports package, its S-model, as it creates 17-inch alloy wheels, underbody spoiler, and a painted spoiler. Oh, we almost forgot ... a new color, called Mica spruce occurs, the exterior of palate in 2011.
