Gumpert Tornante details come into focus ahead of Geneva

With the 2011 Chicago Auto Show out of the way, manufacturers can now return their attention towards Geneva. Gumpert has apparently done just that. As we have heard that the supercar manufacturer is planning to back the leaves on the Tornante next month residue, and we now have a decent idea of what the boxer will bring to the table when it arrives. The latest Gumpert offer a bit more sophistication than the speed-of-all-else Apollo and the Grand Tourer will probably offer a more comfortable cabin and civilian transport as a result.

Do not expect to drop the power by a massive degree, though. Buyers will still have their teeth into the juicy 4.2-liter twin-turbo V8 engine to send the Apollo Tyres on the smoky a sink. The mill will be bolted to the same TT40e transmission, although a number of new rockers takes cog-swapping detail.

There are some word Gumpert also working on an alternative drive power, but details are scant on this machine at the moment. Feel free to past the break for the official press release click.
