Report: GM trying to re-hire Bob Lutz

General Motors is looking for back rent allegedly none other than Bob Lutz as a consultant for vehicle development. Lutz, 79, left GM in May 2010 after leading the company's product development efforts for many years.

The push to rehire Lutz allegedly comes from GM CEO Dan Akerson initiative to develop stress and reduce costs of its new crop of vehicles. The U.S. government, which currently has over a third of GM seems to say Lutz reappointment contrast with The Daily Beast, that the U.S. Treasury hate again Lutz set the ground to pay him, so his retirement near, it could be like a "treasure payout." look

GM recently promoted Maria Barra, 49, to senior vice president in charge of global product development, although it has very little experience in the field.
