Turkish taxi of tomorrow design beats Nissan, Ford proposals among New Yorkers [w/video]

The people in New York City have spoken, and they have the taxi design of Ford and Nissan found missing. You may recall that, the New York Taxi and Limousine Commission recently on polling residents, preferably from a handful of taxi design them for the future of transport in the city. Auto manufacturers around the world submitted their designs for a car that was safe, provided a small impact on the environment, with Americans with Disabilities Act requirements were taken and physically smaller than the tried and true Crown Victoria. Well, the votes officially, and a taxi from the Turkish company Karsan is the winner.
About 66 percent of respondents either liked or loved the design of the Karsan V1, and that was enough to seal fate of the car as the People's Choice for the taxi of tomorrow. The V1 has a number of attractive unique features, including a panoramic glass roof and wheelchair ramps on both sides of the vehicle for easy access. It is also a hybrid, expect that taxi drivers can do to save fuel in the future when the Commission the V1 takes as the city of the new cabin is, and it is easily adaptable to other energy sources as necessary, including diesel, natural gas or all-electric.
The city is probably the results of the survey included as it makes a final decision later this year, although popular with the audience offers no guarantee that NYC taxi driver in Turkey speak soon. Watch a video about the intricacies of New York City Taxi Karsan V1-concept after the break.
