Report: Audi won't be seeing the Up! side - but a Q1 could be in the cards

While some automakers - American, especially - can consolidate their product line-ups all over the world will seem to the German automobile manufacturer in a constant state of expansion. Audi is no exception, with no less loud Automotive News Europe, over 37 models, are continuing to expand to 42 by 2015. The supposedly not it includes a version of the Volkswagen Up! City car program.

Audi CEO Rupert Stadler has been with the words he could not imagine pushing a small car in the line-up under the new A1 is included. The brand, however, could continue with plans for a compact SUV to fit in with the Q3. The vehicle would be considered obviously named Q1.

Plan as for the A1, Audi still does not bring the premium sedan to the U.S. market, preferring instead to focus current on their line-up, while the Brussels plant responsible for the assembly of the A1, keep up with demand struggles . The increase in production, as we reported recently with GM plans for the Chevrolet Volt, is largely on the production capacity of the independent suppliers to make the components.
