Report: VW readying seven-passenger SUV

It looks like a few details have been on the rumor, as shown in addition to the Volkswagen SUV family. According to Auto Express, the newcomers have set themselves the target dead on the American market and will offer seating for seven. There is also a slimmer price tag than the current Touareg, all this courtesy of VW America guru Jonathan Browning.

Auto Express also reports that the new crossover / SUV will most likely be built here in the U.S. in the Company Chattanooga, Tennessee production plant next to the new Passat.

The German automaker has no bones about the fact that she wants nothing more than to carve out a larger piece of the American car market made, and it is a portfolio of vehicles, in particular, provides the necessary Yankee tastes. By 2018, VW wants to sell 800,000 vehicles in the land of the free. Last year the company has managed to move 256,830 units.
