Jaguar named as featured marque for 2011 Monterey Motorsports Reunion



Preparations are already underway for Monterey Car Week next August, and that includes the naming of the presented brands for any event. Mazda Raceway is kicking things off by declaring, Jaguar a star producer of the Monterey Motor Sports Reunion. Jaguar has a special history with Mazda Raceway and the vintage race with Phil Hill won the first Pebble Beach Road Races in 1950 behind the wheel of a Jaguar XK120. This is the third time Jaguar was chosen, having previously in 1976 and 1992 are seen.

The historic race highlight of the Jaguar C-Type, which will celebrate the 60th Anniversary of his 24 Hours of Le Mans victory in 1951 - the first of seven for Jaguar.
