PA town fines drivers trying to save shoveled-out parking spots

The sun is just around the corner and the coffee brewing not quite done, but you know what you do: Grab the snow shovel and free your car from the soft white prison. When finished, your car tastes freedom again and you built a nice little park. Rather than let someone else use your work and claim for themselves after you've gone down, you decide to lay down a cone or reclining chair. This may seem a simple sign of ownership but it's actually a shining beacon of "back-off", the other motorist is communicated. Try this go to Darby Township section of Delaware County, Pennsylvania, and it could cost you.

According to a city ordinance may offend space-savers are punishable up to 300 . Another part of the Regulation states that snow shovelers put back on plowed roads may also be punished. So, shovel away, but remember: no call dibs after the fact.
