Some might scoff Plymouth Lancia as the Fiat Group, but killed instead of like the late American brand, joined the pseudo-Italian premium increase with Chrysler division in an effort to Pentastar global reach and at the same time rejuvenate the brand Lancia.
We have seen that show pairing effectively already by the appointment of Lancia CEO Olivier Francois and the toe-in-the-water demonstration of a Chrysler emblem Lancia Delta at last year's Detroit, but it looks like things are finally speaking next Motor Show in Geneva materialize.
There, according to the latest reports from Europe, the Fiat / Lancia Chrysler alliance unveil a-fied version of the new Chrysler 200th The model is expected to last Flavia nameplate in 1975 to revive and get only seen a few changes in the shape of a new grille (natch), Euro-spec bumper and the possible mechanical additions to a manual transmission and diesel engine.
Headline although the development, it is likely that only one of several new debuts are - some Chrysler-based, others not - that Lancia has planned for the Swiss Expo. A Chrysler 300 flagship sedan based on supposedly is in the cards, as could a Lancia version of the Chrysler Town & Country minivans are (as a possible replacement for the Phedra, which was produced jointly by Fiat and PSA). Finally, it is expected Lancia Ypsilon the new hatchback, which could reveal its way Stateside as Chrysler. Now we just need a Pentastar-badged version of the New Stratos and we will all be set.
