Rumormill: Alfa Romeo 4C GTA concept coming to Geneva

The Fiat group has big plans for the upcoming Geneva Motor Show. The Italian automaker will be unveiling rebadged mainly rebadged versions of existing products of the Chrysler Group for the European market, with Dodge Chrysler more than Fiat and Lancia is expected to debut and name tags. But what of Alfa Romeo? According to reports, roll the hottest of the Fiat-core family is in a whole new concept car.

Tentatively dubbeed 4C GTA, the show car is tipped over a 265-hp 1.7-liter turbocharged four pack in a sleek coupe package. As the MiTo and Juliet is the 4C likely take its design cues to the 8C Competizione (and hopefully a little out of the Pininfarina 2uettotanta picture above) only in slots below the eight-cylinder super sports cars in the history of the company line-up.

Of course, it would have to produce approved first, and right now all we've got rumors of our independent Greek country people are, so stay tuned.
