Volkswagen's U.S. boss wants Scirocco in the States

If someone brings up the Scirocco, we still can not help but cringe a little at the fact that the United States was snubbed out of the car the second coming. Apparently we are not alone. According to USA Today, Volkswagen America boss Jonathan Browning would not mind seeing the low-lying three-door on our shores, either. Browning said that while Volkswagen is not making a sound business case for bringing the Scirocco to the U.S. market the last time around, will he still could see the car in our neck of the woods. Sorry, we can wait a couple of years before that happens.

Browning said it experienced a few other more pressing issues on his plate at the moment, including the improvement of the quality of his company and the dealers make more tolerable. These seem like a lot of lofty goals, but we would not mind the "Rocco seen on American soil sooner rather than later. While we love the Golf GTI as well as the next lead-footed Americans, there is just something about a Scirocco that all the Right tilt switch.
