Report: Porsche's got plenty in the pipeline... starting with a Cayman Targa



It is no secret that Porsche has a great sales ambitions. However, as on travel plans is another matter entirely. On the back of this diversified products such as the Cayenne and Cayenne, it is clear that the product line extension is an integral part of its growth plans, and recently appointed Porsche CEO Matthias Müller has given some hints, what's in store down the product pipeline .

In the first place could be a Targa version of the Cayman that prior to the gap between the existing Cayman coupe and its open-top counterpart, the Boxster, with a removable (or sliding) could bridge roof panels. But hardly the extent of it.

In an interview with Automotive News, Mueller pointed to plans for a sub-four-cylinder Boxster sports cars on the Boxster platform, but with the possible use of Volkswagen Golf components to keep costs down, establish.

In addition, Porsche has big plans for the Panamera, including possible derivatives (such as a coupe or convertible, as rumored) and spin-offs for other divisions Volkswagen, including Audi, Bentley and Lamborghini. One thing is certain, the Porsche is not about sitting back, around and to not just another product line.
