Skoda rallies to the cause with Monte Carlo edition Fabia

Some terms that we are absolutely in the automotive lexicon. Others are relative. Take "subtle"for example. Most would not call a car painting bright red "subtle", but if you compared it to the last rally edition Skoda Fabia we reported, that is exactly what it is. The S2000 edition Fabia Octavia was full livery of company funds IRC-winning Fabia S2000 taken, this is decidedly more low-key, but not without its dose of flair.

The Monte Carlo output celebrates 100 years namesake rally - and 110-year-old Skoda motorsport program - with a red and black color scheme. While the other body is painted bright red, has all been blacked out of the roof to smoked the 17-inch alloy wheels, including the mirror housings, grille and headlights. The red and black theme continues inside with black or red and black seats, complemented by black roof lining and color-keyed steering wheel, shift knob and handbrake lever.

Based on the SE specification, with a range of engines from 1.2 to 1.6 liters, the Fabia Monte Carlo his debut at the Monaco Rally later this month. Details after the jump with photos in the gallery below.
