Report: Spyker C8 Aileron Spyder trying catch up to 99 units with ZR1 power?

It's been a while since we all of Spyker, which do not have not heard with the acquisition of Saab. The Dutch automaker has appeared to take the reins in his hands full Trollhättan of General Motors - to do so much in fact that it has apparently missed production targets. As with the new C8 Aileron Spyder.
The convertible version of the extended and updated C8 debuted about a year and a half ago at Pebble Beach, and if the production in the first half of 2010. Well, the year has come and gone in 2010 and apparently has not yet begun production. But we have some news.
According to reports from the company is native Netherlands Spyker C8 Aileron on keeping the Spyder very exclusive design, built with a production of only 99 copies. This is a huge limited edition, but there's more: according to the same report quoted CEO Victor Muller, Spyker will be ditching the Audi-source 4.2-liter V8 for the 6.2-liter supercharged LS9 engine from the Chevrolet Corvette ZR1.
Considering that at 638 horsepower, the LS9 produces over 50% more power than the 400-horse mill Audi, adequate should drop to the previously estimated 4.5-second sprint to 60 worth his work in transforming the night by blowing and assembly involved in the middle of the Spyker. Either that or all the amount of anything could - but the idea that the door could be swinging between GM and Spyker in both directions is certainly fascinating.
