Porsche has presented two very different versions of the 918 enticing project. First came the 918 Spyder at the Geneva Motor Show 2010 and then the German automaker took the wraps off the 918 RSR in Detroit. While the former was Porsche's vision for a road-going hybrid roadster, this took the form of a fixed roof coupe racing. The question on everyone's lips is, however, take place in what form the production version is later.

According to reports, during the racing version of the fixed roof-top doors of the RSR will keep articulated concept, the road-going version of the wind-in-your-hair experience to offer the Spyder. Autocar says that the production model is a removable roof panel, similar to the Carrera GT. Confirmation comes from reports Wolfgang Dürheimer, Porsche outgoing VP of product development, the change is to head to Bentley and Bugatti, not to mention under the rule of Volkswagen Group's motorsport division.
