Ford dealer giving lessons on MyFord Touch



Ford dealers begin to realize some buyers are not satisfied with the virtual switchboard of MYFORD Touch, and at least one dealer in Michigan offers a free tutorial of the touch screen controls.

Village Ford in Dearborn acknowledges that while some of his younger buyers more comfortable with the system, "... less technically savvy customers need to return again. " And according to Consumer Reports pulled its recommendation for the evaluation of Ford Edge and Lincoln MKX simplicity of use problems with MYFORD / MyLincoln Touch, there is little doubt that Ford and its dealers do proactively to alleviate concerns and people comfortable with the controls.

But as Jim Seavitt says the dealer owns the Detroit Free Press, an issue the lack of choice. If someone buys a car with SYNC, they may choose to use it, but if they up option for a higher spec Edge "have to use them MYFORD touch, "said Seavitt.
