Vanity plate auction puts dent in Texas deficit

In 2009, Texas launched a plan to raise funds through fees to vanity plates increase. About the site MyPlates.com, could be a state resident to order the custom plate Lone Star's choice for a set fee. Hoping to bring in a few bucks on the back of the license plates, Texas recently had an auction at Cowboys Stadium for some very special vanity plates.
Thirty-three plates in all were built on the block and around $ 140,000 ultimately earned for the sale, even if only $ 78,000 will reportedly go to reducing the state debt. A plate with the name Michael was the lowest sales of the evening with a surcharge of only $ 800. The big winner must be an Enzo fan to be because he or she paid $ 15,000 to own Ferrari. Many of the other plates had sports-related words on them like Cowboys, Rangers and GO horns. These three for $ 11,500, $ 10,000 and $ 10,500 or sold.
The plates are 25 years and any valid right of first refusal if the owner if it comes time to renew. Families can also keep to the plates by transferring other family members. The custom sheets can also to new owners who earn a nice profit for the pair from the picture above, when the Cowboys won the Super Bowl are sold.
